Our Mission
Based on the determination that the past, which has a primary role in shaping today, can be understood by examining the scientific method and interdisciplinary perspective, to educate individuals who have gained a historical perspective and can look at events and problems critically and as objectively as possible. To contribute to the formation of a healthy social memory for the benefit of humanity and the country by examining the different stages of World History and Turkish History within the framework of a holistic approach with the same method and perspective and the processes of interaction with the societies that the Turks contacted in different geographies where they lived.
Our Vision
The aim of the programme is to enable students to objectively evaluate the political, military, cultural and economic conditions of the societies that have been formed by people from past to present, both within themselves and with other societies, as well as their changes, developments and interactions with each other in various aspects in accordance with the method of history. In this way, to enable them to look at the historical process scientifically, to make logical and self-consistent predictions about the future and to bring them to a sufficient level in line with the requirements of the modern age, to educate our students in line with the general objectives of the programme and to gain the identity of a modern historian. Our students who have this identity can evaluate historical issues as a modern and impartial historian by making use of other disciplines, and our main mission is to raise individuals who are beneficial to the society, conscious and loyal to Atatürk's Principles and Revolutions by taking part in all relevant educational institutions.
